What if…we had more information about the consequences of disposed garment waste on the planet?

Issue targeted: Garment waste, Lack of transparency.

We’ve been able to buy more and more clothes because to the decline in garment prices over the last 20 years. We now have five times the amount of clothing that our grandparents did. It felt great until we discovered what was causing this trend.

In reality , this never-ending supply of low-priced clothing is only achievable due to ongoing production & cost reductions. This has major ramifications for our health, the environment, and the livelihoods of garment workers. Inexpensive, throwaway apparel is mass-produced in huge volumes. Countless new collections are released each year, making us feel continually out of date and encouraging us to buy more. Every year, the quality of clothing deteriorates. As a result, our clothes appear faded, shapeless, or worn out almost instantly. Weare unable to keep up with the shifting trends. We keep buying only to keep up with the times.
