I had never heard of this term before, but thanks to the faculty members for keeping a workshop for it. So, speculative design addresses big societal problems and it looks towards the future- basically creating products or services for that scenario.
So, it is all about creating imaginary scenarios and worlds. We truly examine the world we live in its values, functions, economy, and the expectations of its individuals by creating fictional worlds and inventing fictions. Overall, I was quite fascinated by this session!
